According to the story, while Samson slept, Delilah cut off his long hair. I thought that was pretty harsh until the John Bobbitt story cut loose a few years ago.
I took this photo a few years ago in the Louvre Museum in Paris. I nicknamed it “Bobbitt B.C.” because it looks like someone who woke up, looked down and said, “Hey, what the heck happened to my ____?”
My guess is someone bobbed it.
